Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of {umax} ("{umax}", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing or using {umax}, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

You must be 18 years of age or older to use {umax}. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 18. {umax} is not directed to, and must not be used by, anyone under 18.

2. Description of the Service

{umax} is a self-improvement app. It offers:

• Face analysis: three selfies taken with the in-app front camera produce AI-generated scores for each facial feature, a "potential" estimate and a plain-language guide. Results describe only you: the app does not compare you with other people, and results cannot be shared from the app.
• Coach: a personalized daily plan and routines for skincare, sleep, fitness, posture and jaw exercises, and grooming. It links to public-health sources, includes a medical disclaimer, and offers optional reminder notifications.
• Discover:
  • Glow-Up Preview: an AI-edited preview of a groomed look, covering skin, hair and grooming only, with no changes to bone structure.
  • Color Analysis.
  Both are made from a selfie taken with the in-app camera.
• Try-On: AI-generated images of new hairstyles, facial hair, hair colors, outfits and aesthetics, and scenes. They are made from a photo of yourself, taken with the camera or chosen from your library. You can save a Try-On image to your Photos or share it through the iOS share sheet.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The following are outputs of AI models:

• scores and "potential" estimates;
• guide text and Coach plans;
• Color Analysis results;
• generated images (Glow-Up Preview and Try-On).

They are estimates based on the photo you provide, meant to support your own self-improvement, and they may be inaccurate, inconsistent or unexpected.

Results can vary significantly with lighting, angle, camera quality and other factors unrelated to your actual appearance. They are not objective, scientific or medical measurements, and they are not a measurement of your worth. Generated images are AI edits, not real photographs.

4. Not Medical or Mental-Health Advice

{umax} is not a medical, dermatological, cosmetic-surgery or mental-health service. It provides general grooming, fitness and wellness information for educational purposes only, and it never recommends medication, supplements or medical procedures. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment or professional advice of any kind.

Nothing in the app replaces consulting a qualified doctor, dermatologist or mental-health professional. Stop any exercise that causes pain. If you have a medical condition, consult a professional before you change your skincare, diet or training.

5. Accounts

{umax} signs you in anonymously by default, so you can use it as a guest without creating a traditional account. You may optionally sign in with Apple, Google, or email and password.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account (guests: Delete My Data).

6. Your Content and License to Us

You keep ownership of the photos and other content you submit to {umax}.

By submitting a photo, you grant us a limited, revocable license to process and store that photo solely to operate and provide the service to you. For example, we use it to generate your scores, Coach plan, Glow-Up Preview and Try-On images, and to keep your history. We do not take any broader commercial license to your photos.

To produce your results, your photos are processed by our AI providers, acting as our processors:

• OpenAI (analysis);
• Eachlabs (image generation, using an image model developed by Google).

The app asks for your explicit consent before your first photo. If you decline, no photo is captured or processed. See our Privacy Policy for full details, including how long providers may keep data.

When submitting photos, you agree that:

• You will only use photos of yourself. Photos of other people are not allowed, even with their permission.
• You will never submit photos of minors (anyone under 18).
• You understand that Try-On photos are checked automatically before processing to block photos of more than one person, of people who appear to be minors, and of prohibited content. These checks do not identify anyone and cannot confirm that a photo is of you, so you remain responsible for only using photos of yourself. We may reject any photo that fails these checks.
• If you export or share a Try-On image, you do so at your own responsibility. You will not use it to mislead others into believing it is an unedited photograph.

7. Subscriptions, Credits and Payments

{umax} offers:

• Premium: an auto-renewing subscription, weekly or annual. Premium unlocks face analysis, Coach routines and Discover, and includes 10 Try-On credits per week.
• Credit packs: consumable packs of credits for Try-On (currently 30, 50 or 90 credits).

All purchases are made through Apple In-App Purchase and managed via Adapty.

• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Managing or canceling: Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings on your device.
• Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase.
• Free trials: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds: All purchases are billed through Apple, and Apple handles refunds under its own policies.
• Weekly Premium credits:
  • While your subscription is active, 10 credits are added to your balance once per calendar week (weeks start on Monday, UTC), the first time the app checks your balance that week.
  • Weeks in which you do not use the app are not credited later.
  • Weekly credits join the same balance as purchased credits and do not expire, including after your subscription ends.
• Credits:
  • One credit is used for each Try-On image. If a generation fails, the credit is returned automatically.
  • Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • If Apple refunds a credit-pack purchase, the corresponding credits are removed from your balance.
  • Any remaining credits are lost when you delete your account.
• Without Premium: Face analysis, Coach routines and Discover stay locked until you subscribe. Try-On can be used with credits.
• Price changes: We may change prices for subscriptions or credit packs, with notice as required by Apple's App Store policies.

8. Intellectual Property

The {umax} app, its brand and design, and the underlying technology are owned by us or licensed to us. Apart from the limited rights these Terms give you to use the app, nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use {umax} for any unlawful purpose;
• Upload photos of anyone other than yourself;
• Upload photos of minors, including photos of yourself if you are under 18;
• Upload or try to generate sexual, nude, violent, hateful or otherwise unlawful content;
• Use generated images to impersonate, harass or deceive anyone;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or AI models behind the app;
• Scrape, harvest or extract data from the app through automated means;
• Get around the app's payment, credit or usage limits.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to {umax} if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app, or delete your account at any time via Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account (guests: Delete My Data).

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

{umax} is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available. We also do not guarantee the accuracy of any AI-generated scores, results or images.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of {umax}. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of {umax} will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Turkey.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. If you continue to use {umax} after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
